Once again, my son has come to my rescue!
Well, I’ll tell you.
It all started sometime in May when I gave him a skein of yarn.
It was one of my many skeins of RH Claret.
Well, after he’d worked about 1/3 the skein, a hook fell out.
It was my Blue Boye “I” hook that I had lost early last year!
I searched high and low, and ended up buying a new I hook, my first Bamboo. (insert smile)
Anyway, I think I posted about loosing my favoritest hook… my only handmade Wood hook – an “L”.
It went missing after I finished making a shawl for my aunt.
Again, searching High and Low, enlisting the aid of all family members, I was not going down without a fight.
After going so far as cutting open the back of the couch (my main crocheting spot), I gave up. I imagined that somehow it gone thrown away. 😥
Well, cut to 3 days ago. My son is working on his latest lapghan, and is running low on Claret. So I handed him my last 2 skeins 😀 of it, and send him on his way.
About 30 minutes later, he emerges from his room with my “L” hook!!!!!!! :yay:
Now, I don’t know what’s going on, but how is it that I’ve managed to lose 2 hooks in 2 skeins of yarn in colors that I loathe!?
Oh well, all that matters is that all my hooks are back safely in my case!
Since all the Claret is now gone, where will I look if another hook goes AWOL???
