Oh! Who lives in a Pineapple, under the sea?

I received an email a few days ago that just made me smile the biggest smile.

A fellow crocheter adapted my?Carpenter Hat?pattern, and this is what she came up with:

HPIM0070.JPG?SpongeBob Hat?

How creative is that?? I mean, of all the combination of colors in the world, I would’ve never ‘seen’ Sponge bob in my pattern!!
I think this is too cute, and my children *love* these photos.
They recognized him right away, which to me, is always a sign that you’ve done it right!

Great Job! πŸ˜‰
As for me and my crochet, I’ve been working on the afghan for my Dad. It’s about finished, but the weaving in process is going to be quite daunting. :hair:
When I started it, I didn’t know think to crochet over the ends as I was doing color changes, so there’s a whole bunch of loose ends!

I will put down the afghan to whip out a wide and thick scarf, because the temperature dropped substantially and tomorrow’s supposed to be 20 degrees. I’m going out tomorrow, and walking in 20 degrees… well, I need a scarf! πŸ˜‰
