I was looking through the digital album of her last year, and it’s amazing what a year does, in terms of toddlers.
She’s got so much more hair and personality!
We’re gonna eat buffet Pizza and then go to Chuck E. Cheese’s and let them burn off some energy, and head home for cake.
Very small and simple.
Big brother made her halter, using my pattern! 🙂
She really enjoyed herself, and the toy that was the biggest hit (read, the only one she wanted to open), was the Tea set.
She and her sister had tea party after tea party tonight!
In crochet news, I made Emily a pair of mittens to go with her pink flapper hat.
The flapper comes down low enough over her ears to be
good for the colder weather. Be on the lookout for that pattern here, soon!
I frogged the baby blanket… again! I found, through a few kind souls at Crochetville, a version of the star ripple afghan that eliminates the pucker problem that I ran into.
While I was kinda taking it slow in working on the ghan, I now have a huge sense of urgency!
Why? Um, well, the baby was due in late August, and, well, the doctors forgot to check their calendars with the baby, and, well, he’s here! He was born on July 26!!!
A healthy 7lbs 8oz!
Mommy and baby are at home now. I can’t wait to see him!
But – I refuse to show up with no ghan in hand!
So… what that means is Dad’s ghan is pushed back a bit, as is my MIL’s. That’s ok, though, because I ran into trouble getting started on hers.
I swear, I must pick the most complicated patterns ever written!
😥 I’ll figure something out.
I still have some time, right?
