The interview was this morning.
I was sooooooooo nervous!
The reporter and cameraman said I did GREAT!
I talked about EVERYTHING from how I came up with the idea, to how I learned to crochet.
I was happy to have squares to show them.
I had received 15 squares in the mail Friday, and my son and I made 25 over the weekend, plus some I’d been working on anyway.
They seemed very impressed with all the response and “pledges” I’ve received. It’s a rough estimate that I could get at least 500 squares!
I tell ya, the number of fiber artists getting involved is overwhelming! I’m so glad to be a part of this sisterhood (I know there are male crocheters and knitters out there, and I’m glad to have y’all, too!)!!
It’s set to air at 6pm and 10pm central time tonight. I don’t know if it’ll be on the website, but I’m going to try to record it.
The station said they’d get a copy to me, and I’d like to have it put into a digital format, so I can upload it to the site.
Oh- they’re also going to do a follow up story when I start putting the squares together. I’m hoping to have a few locals helping me put the squares together by then!
