I’m Knitting! The first question is… what? Yay! I’ve just finished up my oldest DD’s tank top. DH says it’s too wide, so I see some altering in my future, but she loves it! She loves the color — which is awesome, since she is the one that picked it out. I’ve got pictures! Yay — I finally snapped and uploaded the slipper pictures. winter05/Dsc00006 winter05/Dsc00007 winter05/Dsc00032 I’m currently working on this bag, and will start on this one ASAP! I’m looking for a project bag, since the one I currently use is too small for much of anything. I think I need something that holds more than one […] T has just whipped out a shawl for his grandmother. I can safely guesstimate that it took him roughly 5 hours from start to finish! I’m not sure picture picks up the detail, but it’s very pretty! He’s started on his aunt’s gift: a poncho! T and I are working on ghans! Here’s his: Here’s mine: I squeezed this ghan into my to-do list. My StepDaughter is expecting, and I thought she’d like something handmade for her baby. T is officially crocheting! Yup yup — he made two practice squares that we’ve lovingly dubbed, “Thing One” & “Thing Two” may05/turner_with_things_one_and_two He’s working on a simple single crochet scarf. He’s so proud, as am I! I think he’s really got the bug! I was so excited to try the halter on R this morning, but I didn’t know I was going to have to fight with her. That’s right — square number four is done!!! I used pastels and a vintage variegated yarn for this one. I used this pattern, which may be hard to make out on my version, due to the light colors, but I know what it is! This square represents babies that my husband and I have lost. […] Wowee wowee! I’ve finished number 3!!!
This is supposed to be for my stepson. I was aiming to make it more masculine. Did I deliver? This square started out with a pattern, but at round 8, I got confused, (hint: this happens […] Yeehaw! Now, I’d love to tell you the name of the pattern, but I can’t — because I started off with a real pattern, got confused about halfway through and just winged it from there! Here’s a pic: I’m now a week ahead of the game! |
