Heb. 4:12

Look! God is my salvation. I shall trust and be in no dread; for Jah Jehovah is my strength and [my] might, and he came to be the salvation of me.”

Hmmm…

When Barbara announced that there would be a new autumn series, I got so excited.  I waited… and waited… and finally, it was announced.

Cattails!  Cattails? Um, what in the world are cattails? Surely, this is something familiar only those on the east or west coast, or anywhere other than Bayou Country.

I sighed quietly to myself, […]

This week, so far…

This week was a 1/2 day school week.  We have a two-day assembly this weekend, and I always like to sew new things for the girls and I to wear.  I made myself a skirt and shirt (that’s a first for me!) and I made a skirt and dress for Face.  Flower Picker was in […]

Another Week bites the dust!

Hey — get your hands in the air — Queen is rockin’!

Tee hee, ok, so it was totally pun-y, but I think I got the message across!  Week 5 is now over.  We had an interesting week, to say the least.

Our week started with our Theocratic Study. We read about some of our fellow believers in […]

Week 4 put to bed!

Oh, this week was exciting!

We started learning about Pyotr Tchaikovsky. He had an interesting life.  His music is simply beautiful. I’m a fan of the Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture.

Our Art study was on Ambrosius Bosschaert. I don’t think the kids enjoyed his art as much as they did the previous artists, though. Number 1 […]

We’re Buggin’

I read ahead to the next challenge on the Handbook of Nature Study blog, and it said to choose a topic that we could stick with for 6–8 weeks.
I think, given our fascination with the T-shirt bug, that we’d devote our 6–8 weeks to bugs!

I had made mention of our mystery guest last night to a […]
