Wahoo!

I’ve found the findiest find that could ever be found!

To fall right along with our Nature Study, I’ve found these great, well, curriculum pieces!  It’s at learningpage.com, and under the heading of Theme Sheets. You have to have a membership, but it’s free.

They have Insects, Zoo Animals, Oceans, Dinosaurs, Reptiles & Amphibians, and Space.
Each of these themes […]

Getting things ready…

It’s the mid-point of our summer vacation.
It’s too hot to think!

I’m trying to remind myself to post some of our ‘not-using-after-all’ curriculum/books on Ebay.

I’m ordering this for the girls’ math.  This looks like so much fun, and since they love to play ‘store’, this should be right up their alley.

I’ll be using All About Spelling for Flower Picker […]

Aw, the latest…

Well, for starters, I’ve added a new category — Sewing!

Yup, yup, this crocheter sews, too!  Well, let me rephrase -

I have owned a sewing machine for 17 years.  In that 17 years, the most sewing I’ve done to date, was cloth diapers.  I sewed diapers for 3 years.  I never had proper instruction, so most […]

A Great Witness!

I’m ok with admitting that I am a fan of Michael Jackson’s music.

The first album (yes, vinyl), I ever purchased was “Thriller”.  I played it over and over and over! Michael Jackson music littered my ‘coming of age’ years. My best friend was music!  I knew all the words to every 1980s song — every […]
