Today’s Lessons…

After service today, the girls sat down with their mommy-made sewing kits, and hand stitched for the first time.

(We went to Hobby Lobby last week, and I found these sewing kits that had felt shaped animals, some embroidery thread, and a needle — for $9!  Well, they also had felt on sale — 30% off 4/$1, […]

Checking in!

It’s been crazy busy around here!

I’m Pioneering again this month, so school is light, yet again.

The year is pretty much over, minus #1 son’s finals.

He’s going to do “Weather in the Scriptures” as his Physical Science final.

He’ll be doing a Mankind’s Search for God exam created by a friend, as his History final.

I am so happy with how […]

I can’t believe it!!

I’m Knitting!
I’m actually making something that will amount to something larger than a dishcloth, but with more shape than a scarf!!

The first question is… what?
I found this cute pattern, it looked easy enough — didn’t require circular needles, and I have the size it DOES call for.  I’ve been wanting to make a tank for my […]

Where the heck have I been?

I bet that’s what you’re thinking, huh?

Well, I’ve been busy, that’s for sure.

I pioneered last month! (and got my 50 hours, Yay!)

We’ve lost 2 servants this month, too — one brother and one sister.

Our CO visited the week after the Memorial (we had 262 in attendance, and there are roughly 130 publishers).

We took the month off from […]
