Oh My Goodness!!!

Ok, so you know that crazy post I did about not buying anymore yarn. :D
Yeah, that was a good one, wasn't it? ;-)
Anyway, today, I received my email confirmation that my Knit Picks order is on its' way! Yahoo! Then I shared that news with my yarn-loving crochet son. He then, innocently asked, how much yarn are you getting?

OK, now, to answer that question, I had to first understand what he was referring to, because today's email notification is one of two that I had received in the past week. I haven't yet received my first order, so I didn't know if he wanted to know how much was coming first, second, or all together. (You see the confusion, right?)
Well, anyway, after I stumbled through all that trying to discern exactly what he wanted the answer to, (total yarn), I added it up.

Now, it may not sound like a lot to you, but this is the most yarn I've ever purchased at one time. Well, ok, technically it's two times, but since none of it is here yet, I'm collectively referring to them as one time.
Also, this is the most premium (is that right?) of yarns I've ever treated myself to. Ok, with that said, after tallying up my total yarn to arrive within the next 10 - 14 days in my home is...
twenty-three!!!
and you know what's really sad, I still can't bring myself to close out the Knit Picks tab on my browser. I keep staring at more yarn!

I think I need a sponsor!
