Oh! Who lives in a Pineapple, under the sea?
I received an email a few days ago that just made me smile the biggest smile.
A fellow crocheter adapted my Carpenter Hat pattern, and this is what she came up with:
How creative is that?? I mean, of all the combination of colors in the world, I would’ve never ‘seen’ Spongebob in my pattern!! I think this is too cute, and my children *love* these photos. They recognized him right away, which to me, is always a sign that you’ve done it right!
Great Job!
As for me and my crochet, I’ve been working on the afghan for my Dad. It’s about finished, but the weaving in process is going to be quite daunting. :hair:
When I started it, I didn’t know think to crochet over the ends as I was doing color changes, so there’s a whole bunch of loose ends!
I will put down the ghan to whip out a wide and thick scarf, because the temperature dropped substantially and tomorrow’s supposed to be 20 degrees. I’m going out tomorrow, and walking in 20 degrees… well, I need a scarf! ![]()

RE: the mitts…HI! There *are* warm! I like to knit with metal needles. I never developed a fondness for wood and they work well. My girls have worn theirs around the clock since I made them. And the shape is great, allows for lots of movement. Perfect for driving too and not wanting to touch the cold steering wheel. I am trying so hard to get another pair whipped out right now.

I’ll have to have you over next week when life slows down. This week we have a spayed kitty and she will need it quiet here. I think *I* need it quiet here, LOL!

This is a great idea! I love it (though I’m not fond of sponge bob! lol)
I love the stitch pattern you used for your baby blanket!
