WIP Wednesday

Fresh off my hook today is square number 5!!!

Square number 5
Yee haw! This one is for my youngest daughter. She loves butterflies. How perfect is that?
Here's the pattern, if you're interested. I didn't have to make any changes or anything!

Also in progress:
A hook case. I have one that my secret pal made me, but I need one with more space for my hooks and a pocket or something to hold my scissors and tape measure, too.

I saw a post on Crochetville of someone who graphed and crocheted a Dora the Explorer afghan! It's gorgeous!!!
While I'm not sure I could take on that sort of challenge right now, I want to do something different. My girls love Dora, and I think they'd really love a backpack made like Dora's. So, I'm on the hunt for a backpack pattern.
If you know of one, drop me a line!

Also, I think I'm going to work up a shawl for my MIL for Mother's Day! Yeah, talk about last minute! I have a day to make and send it to get to her in time! Think I'll make it?!!!

I'm starting square #6, so I'll be 1/2 way done, and... according to my time-line, I'll be 4 weeks ahead of schedule! :-D

Oh, and I think I'll squeeze in another hat. And a pair of slippers. I cannot believe that today, May 4, in Louisiana, it's actually COLD outside! :-o
Check the temperature over there!! >>
I just can't fathom what June and July are going to be like!
At any rate, I need some slippers. I've needed slippers for a while.
And Walmart didn't have my size in.

Boy oh boy, will I have a lot to say for next WIP Wednesday! ;-)
