After fin­ish­ing E’s pat­terned Hal­ter, I decided to try my hand at a non pat­terned, ‘sim­pler’ ver­sion for R.

I’m not sure of the fit, since she was asleep when I fin­ished it, but it looks cute!

I think I’m ready to start on my cro­chet hook case now. While I’m at it, I should prob­a­bly make a bag, too, huh?

I mean, I have 3 bags now. One is short & shal­low, and I keep my current/travel project in it. One is larger, and I just have my deep bur­gandy yarn in it. I think I had a rea­son for doing it, but darned if I can remem­ber now!
One is fairly large and has my skeins of WIM yarn in it. I don’t know why I do that, but I walk around w/ the shal­low and the BIG bag to get inspi­ra­tion.
I don’t think I’m capa­ble of work­ing on only one project at a time. I think it breaks up the monotony(sp) of cro­chet­ing, tho.

Oh, Oh, OH!!!!! Guess what?!! My son and DH were cro­chet­ing with me today!!!
I taught them the chain stitch and they spent roughly 45 min­utes chain­ing!!! I’m so happy! J said it was a gift to me!
He wouldn’t let me take a pic of him doing it, tho.
I caught him con­cen­trat­ing on me while I was cro­chet­ing. When I asked him about it, he said “Oh, I was just watch­ing how you hold every­thing.“
Tee hee — I think I’m going to try to get a hook in his hands again!

E really wants to cro­chet! She has done a chain stitch. I think I’m going to work with her as long as she shows interest.

My son. Well, he swears he was born to be a knit­ter, but I think that’s just the rebel­lion in him. He hasn’t touched his nee­dles in months, and so since he stays grounded, I handed him a “J” hook & some yarn and voila!
